Data Backup and Disaster Recovery

An Ounce of Prevention...

A recent study discovered that, of companies experiencing a "major loss" of computer records, 43 percent never reopened, 51 percent closed within two years of the loss, and a mere 6 percent survived over the long term.*

The ability to manage emerging risks, anticipate the interactions between different types of risk and bounce back from disruption will be a competitive differentiator for companies in the 21st century.  We empower you with that ability.

We offer Onsite Backup setup and maintenance, and Offsite Data Backup to our servers, enabling us to set up, monitor and control every aspect of your data loss prevention.  Our Disaster Recovery Services offer you the most expedient return to productivity after a data-loss event based upon your level of backup; whether we rush a Bare Metal Recovery from your onsite NAS or rebuild your software infrastructure and reload your backed-up data, you can be assured that reducing your time lost is a high priority for us.

Key Benefits

bulletFor backup to our servers, your data is encrypted at your site with password protection which gives you peace of mind in two areas: your data cannot be seen by us or anyone else at any site other than yours; and viruses cannot be spread throughout our backup servers from one client's data to another.
bulletBackups are programmed to be be completed automatically, eliminating human error, one of the most common reasons a current backup is not available when it is needed.
bulletData is backed up in incremental daily backups; the most recent five of these are kept as a standard procedure, which allows retrieval of all currently active files selectively as needed.
bulletMonthly Complete Backups of all Data is kept for the last 2 months, allowing retrieval of older files that are not modified on a regular basis and therefore not included in the daily incremental backups.
bulletData Recovery can be file selective or all data files; if a file is deleted that is later needed, it can be recovered via one of the backups listed whether daily incremental or from a precious full data backup.
bulletBare Metal Recovery service is available for those who have a high risk or need for the most possible expedient recovery; this service backs up a mirror of your software as well as your data, allowing a full system restore in a fraction of the time it takes to rebuild when an operating system is compromised or hardware fails.

Onsite Data Backup

Localized NAS (Network Attached Storage) device installed to backup up to 1 TB data which, as your data is modified, is then added to incrementally on a timed basis throughout your workday to monthly full data backups.   This limits your data loss to a mere portion of your day's data modified in the event of hardware failure, but will not protect your data from environmentally related catastrophic loss such as fire, flood, theft etc.  Priced according to data capacity required.

Offsite Data Backup

Data is backed up daily to our servers and whether your crisis requires full data recovery of all your files or selectively for a single file deleted or lost in error, the combination of monthly full and daily incremental backups limits your data loss to a single day's work or data entry.  Backups are monitored daily for success / fail messages, and clients receive backup failure messages in the event of missed files or internet connectivity issues.  Priced according to data capacity required; dependant upon DSL or cable internet connection.

Onsite / Offsite Full Backup Bare Metal Recovery Backup (BMR)

Localized NAS (Network Attached Storage) device installed to backup up to 1 TB data for an immediate mirror image of your software and data, which, as your data is modified, is then added to incrementally on a timed basis throughout your workday.  An original, encrypted mirror image of your full backup is sent to our offsite location, to await daily synchronization with your onsite NAS device for daily incremental backups of all modified data each day; dependant upon DSL or cable internet connection.  This allows 48 hour BMR if your hardware is lost through catastrophe such as fire, flood or theft.  Priced according to data capacity required.

Disaster Recovery

Backups alone do not bring peace of mind, but they are the perfect first step.

Our Disaster Recovery Services offer you the most expedient return to productivity after a data-loss event based upon your level of backup; whether we rush a Bare Metal Recovery from your onsite NAS or rebuild your software infrastructure and reload your backed-up data, you can be assured that our professionals have the expertise and commitment to do what it takes to get you back up and functioning with as little loss of time as possible.  Reducing your time lost is a high priority for us.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.  However, when a cure is needed it becomes priceless; therefore we would like to redirect you to our Data Recovery Services at this time to help you recover your valuable data if you have found us in the wake of a Data Loss Event without backups of your data.
